As Mrs. Müller from the Kitzinger Tafel When we came to us, it quickly became clear that we would like to take on this project. The board stands for a strong social goal: saving food and helping people in need. However, the existing website was Outdated, confusing and out of date from a technical point of view. The task was therefore divided into two parts: On the one hand, the new website should Activate donor and sponsor, on the other hand the Table customers quick access to information and provide organizational processes. The aim was to meaningfully unite the different target groups on one platform with high content requirements.

As with every project, we started with a clear analysis of the initial situation. We reviewed structures, content and technical requirements and, together with the Tafel team, defined which functions and messages must be the focus. It quickly became clear that the project went beyond pure website modernization: It was about Communication with responsibility. In addition to the technical implementation, we therefore also decided to financially support the project. Wir renounced entirely on your own profit in order to make full implementation possible. Related to this was our aim to provide the board with a system that would work in the long term easy to maintain, stable in operation and clear in communication.
We developed the new website on Webflow, a flexible CMS that allows the Tafel team to maintain content themselves. The website was structured, visually modernized and its content was geared towards the two central target groups: donors and People seeking help. In addition, we produced Photo and video material on site to authentically represent the work of the helpers. After the launch, we trained the Tafel team to maintain the system to ensure maximum independence. The result was a functional, modern and at the same time social digital presence, which makes the organization's commitment visible.
The new website of Kitzinger Tafel It is now more than a digital information channel, it is a communicative platform for engagement and help. It unites all target groups, instills trust and supports the organization in its daily work. The project showed how through a strategic approach, structured design and genuine partnership social impact can be experienced digitally. For us, it was a project close to our hearts and proof that systems thinking and humanity can go hand in hand.

With great commitment and good ideas, Karl Gaster and his team developed the new homepage of Kitzinger Tafel e.V. To this end, they first learned in detail about the work of the food banks, but in particular about the work of the Kitzinger Tafel. And not only from a desk, but also on site in Kitzingen. During the entire development period, we were able to contribute our own ideas and suggestions. Mr. Gaster sometimes had to be patient for us. An advantage that should not be underestimated is that, following instructions from Mr. Gaster, we can update the new homepage ourselves and post new contributions. If any help is needed, they are happy to do so. Kitzinger Tafel e.V. now has a modern and attractively designed homepage, for which there has already been a lot of positive feedback. Therefore, a clear recommendation on our part for Studio Kom. and Karl Gaster.
